Baptism
Why be baptized? God says that through baptism, children and adults receive many blessings, including the Holy Spirit which strengthens and gives faith, new life, and forgiveness.

In our United Methodist tradition we are privileged to receive new Christians to the faith through the sacrament of Holy Baptism. The sacrament is available to all people of any age and takes place in the context of Sunday morning worship.

On Sunday, December 29, 2019 we welcomed in baptism first cousins Aerietta Joy Gresko and Everly Ann Smith into our Faith Family. Congratulations to the proud parents and grandparents.

Our Wedding Policy

The changes made to the Book of Discipline in the recent General Conference in April, 2024, invites the local church to make a wedding policy defining who can and cannot be married using their church facility. So our Leadership Board unanimously voted to make its facilities available for anyone, especially LGBTQiA+ persons, to be married at Wesley Memorial.

Wesley Memorial welcomes all people, especially LGBTQiA+, to be married in our house of worship. If you would like to be married at Wesley Memorial, please email the church office.
